By accessing or using Spendy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the Service. The Service is operated by Bright Worldwide, LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Use of the Service

Spendy is a personal finance tracking tool. You may use the Service solely for your own personal, non-commercial household budgeting and expense tracking purposes.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Upload malicious code, files, or content of any kind
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Financial Data

Spendy does not connect directly to your bank or financial institutions. You upload transaction data manually via CSV export. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of data you import. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, and logos — are owned by Bright Worldwide, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bright Worldwide, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Illinois.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
